Turning 30 was a very anticlimactic experience, as most birthdays have been for me. The next time I go to the liquor store I am going to giggle and act silly and see if they even consider IDing me. If they don't, then I know I am getting old. I'll let you know how that turns out.
Patrick took me out for a nice dinner and it was great to have him here. This was the first time since we have been married that he wasn't deployed somewhere on my birthday and Valentine's day.
On another note, I am pleased to share a birthday with Allison's new baby Samuel! The little guy was born at 5:46am and weighed 7lbs 8oz. They went home the same day and are doing well.
