I was thinking last night about this blog and what I'm trying to accomplish here. Most of my posts have not been very positive. When I look back to this time, do I really want to hear about all the crap, or do I want to capture the moments in time that brought me joy and happiness. Hopefully I can manage to be more upbeat and find good things to write about. Of course there will be days where I need to vent, and to be real we need to reflect on the not so pretty side of life as well. I also think I'm not being very personal, you know, talking about my feelings and all that sucky stuff. Considering I have been known to cry at long distance commercials, being a big sucky poo on a blog shouldn't be that much of a stretch.....we'll see.
Things that happened today
- Alia went from all fours to sitting like an old pro a couple of times in a row so I know it wasn't just a fluke!
- It finally stopped raining and we got to see the sun!
- I drank a whole pot of coffee.
- Still managed to take a nap after that when my Dad was watching Alia and Quin was napping.
- Quinten picked up the telephone and had a conversation about the "nice day today".
- Went to the park.
- Did 5 loads of laundry.
- Had a visit from Jeff and Jinx.
Here is a picture from about a month ago. I think I like it so much because it was the last time until today that we saw the sun. That and Alia looks so darn cute!
