I am really excited because I've decided once and for all what I am going to do for ME. I have been throwing around different ideas since Quinten was born as to types of jobs to do from home. I am committed to being here at home for my family, but find that I miss being "out" in the world. Can you believe I was at one point thinking of writing a book, just so that I could go out and promote it! So here it goes...since it's a scrappin' sunday, and scrapbooking is my passion, I am going to become a Close to my Heart Consultant. Of course with the move coming up, it's not like I'm starting tomorrow, but soon (maybe September) I'll hopefully be settled enough to start.
This is the card we made at the Close to my Heart home gathering I was at this afternoon. The consultant Vanessa was just great and a big reason I decided to do this now is because I could see myself motivated and inspired by her.
Here's a layout I did a couple of months ago, but I had the picture on the 'puter so thought I'd post it. The flowers are made out of scraps and homemade photo corners...which I highly recommend not bothering to make out of a thin type paper like the green mulberry paper I used (can you say Pain In The Ass). The stems were done on a sewing machine.

Kelly, I am so excited for you that you found yesterday so inspiring...so much so that you have even found your calling!!! YAY! I am looking forward to getting you set up in your new house and helping you start your new business. It was lovely to meet you and I'm looking forward to getting to know you more!!
I don't scrap..but I do stamp... Hmmm. I may have to order from you!!!
That's awesome Kelly! And I must say I am VERY impressed with that layout! hehe I know you'll do great at it, wish you were staying out here so that I could buy from you, I bet i'd be one of your best customers lol
